2011-90 People Joined Us at The Terrace Grill for Valentine's Dinner

Friday, February 18, 2011

We would like to thank all of our guests for an extremely successful Valentine's Day Dinner! Ninety people joined us Sunday evening for a sold out event at The Terrace Grill. With table settings decorated with long stemmed roses and romantic Latin classical guitar music it was truly an occasion to be remembered.
Chef Joseph's food was exceptional as usual. Standouts on the menu included coffee-crusted beef tenderloin and pomegranate-glazed maple leaf farms duck breast. The evening was capped off with desserts including baked Alaska and chocolate cayenne molten lava cake. Yum!
A special thanks to Kevin McCormick for providing his lovely music to set the mood for the evening. If you've never heard the musical stylings of McCormick, you're in for a treat. A Texas Hill Country resident and guitar instructor at Schreiner University, Kevin has travelled the world honing his skills. Moving to Nagoya, Japan, he immersed himself in the ancient culture, composing, performing and studying the art form of the Japanese koto. Since 1994, he has taught guitar privately and at schools and universities. Playing music with an international flair, McCormick's set list draws heavily from Spain and Latin America, jazz and popular arrangements and his own dazzling compositions.
McCormick is playing a number of different venues in the area. To hear his music or check out his upcoming gigs, please visit www.Kevin-McCormick.com.
