Here are our picks for must-see events:

Twin Elms Ranch Rodeo, Bandera

Experience a slice of Americana at Twin Elm Guest Ranch. A stop at their rodeo is a must on your way through the cowboy capitol of the world. The rodeo begins on Friday night at 8pm and includes bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, shoot doggin', mutton bustin', team roping and the calf scramble. Wings Over Boerne, Boerne

Come see the majesty of raptors in action. Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy presents demonstrations with birds-of-prey. Hawks, falcons, owls and vultures will stretch their wings in this flying demo.

When was the last time you felt the wind of a hawk's wing as it passed over your head? Or witnessed the powerful silent beauty of a Great Horned Owl, as it stared through huge yellow eyes at you? Have you ever seen a Golden Eagle from only a few feet away?

The Auslander Spring Music Festival, Fredericksburg
March 9 - 17

Grab one of the multitude of beers on tap and listen to some great Texas music. The Auslander features German food in a large indoor facility or outdoor biergarten. A number of great Texas bands will be playing a tribute to good ol' Texas music. Before you settle in for a night of terrific tunes, take a saunter down Main Street Fredericksburg and visit some of the eclectic shops. Texas Hell Week Bicycle Tour, Fredericksburg
March 10 - 17

Push yourself to the limit and enter the Texas Hell Week Bicycle Tour. Texas Hell Week is as common to Spring as bluebonnets are to spring in the Hill Country. Nicknamed "The Rides of March," HWTX features 8 days of incredible riding and stunning scenery in Texas Hill Country.
