Wednesday we were joined by sixty-seven members of the Canyon Lake Newcomer's Group for a luncheon held at the pavilion at The Terrace Grill. The Canyon Lake Newcomer's Group was formed to greet new members of the community and introduce them to the best the area has to offer. Obviously, we were thrilled to have them come visit our restaurant and take a tour of some of the cottages. The menu was perfect for a warm spring day. Organic free-range chicken salad sandwiches, cheese pizzas and southwest salad served with chilled cucumber and dill soup rounded out the entrees. For dessert, we served a raspberry beer float-made with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry lambic beer. It was an unusual and delicious treat that can be found-more often than not-on our dessert menu offerings.
We were also thrilled to unveil our spring restaurant decorations. Flowers, succulents, birds and other natural elements adorn our open air restaurant. Many thanks to our decorator, Jordis Ernst, for her creative flair.
