Hot Summer Days are about to get cooler at The Terrace Grill

Saturday, July 02, 2011

The Terrace Grill was built almost two years ago, taking advantage of the beautiful Texas Hill Country landscape for a unique outdoor dining experience. The restaurant was built into the hillside terracing to take advantage of summer breezes and to protect against cold winter weather. Though the restaurant is in a covered pavilion, equipped with ceiling fans and enjoys a cool breeze blowing through most of the day, it can be a little too warm for some of our temperature sensitive guests.
To keep our diners comfortable in the above average temperatures this summer we've installed misting-fans! The Terrace Grill now has nine outdoor air conditioning fans which are equipped with misters that spray atomized droplets of water. As the microscopic water droplets evaporate, the air becomes cooler. How is that for your weekly science lesson?
We're now armed to the teeth for all weather conditions. In the cool winter months, we have many space heaters hanging from the ceilings and clear siding so our guests can admire the surrounding landscape.
So come see us at The Terrace Grill this weekend for a cool summer dining experience. We're open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for lunch from 11:30 to 2:30 and dinner from 5:30 to 9:00. Call Kathryn or Alison at 830-995-4045 as reservations are recommended. Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend!
