Oct. 30, 2011--My husband and I had the most wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here! Such a beautiful place. We are already making plans to come back! So relaxing and picturesque! Food was amazing!

Thank you for making our son's wedding dreams come true. Riven Rock Ranch, with all the gorgeous amenities and movie star looks, wowed our guests as much as it wowed us (all those months ago in the dead of a cold winter.) We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for Katie and David's wedding. The care and attention that you have given to every little detail has not been overlooked. You have created the most wonderful respite in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Aug. 17 - 19, 2011--What a beautiful setting! Parvins Cottage is the perfect place to relax and re-charge! It just felt like peace the moment we walked through the door!
Sunset on the patio last evening was a real treat! No sounds except a horse in the distance. The delicious wine helped make the perfect end to our day.

August 12, 2011--When you hear "Texas Hill Country," what comes to mind? Bluebonnets, lantana, lazy winding rivers and beautiful sunsets-those we knew. Now, however, after our Riven Rock Ranch sojourn, memory banks for my husband and me are filled with so much more. We truly weren't prepared for what awaited us. It's a gorgeous place to be sure, with impeccably manicured grounds and beautifully designed interiors. And choices of accommodations are so much fun from the Teacher's Cottage to the Farmhouse and more! For us, it was a perfect rest from our busy lives in a quiet pastoral setting.
If one is looking for a beautiful place for restful sleep and incredible dining, expectations will be over reached for sure. Thank you to everyone at Riven Rock Ranch for our stay in this sanctuary away from the noisy throng.

August 5 - 9, 2011--Dear Teachers Cottage,
Thank you for the lovely time we had in your cottage - Riven Rock Ranch raises the bar for ranch-resorts everywhere! The staff was the best - and we enjoyed meeting and talking to the whole Riven Rock "family!" The food, the cottage, the RANCH, the folks, all were fabulous. Thank you and we hope to visit again, very soon!

July 21, 2011--This is our second time to stay at Riven Rock and once again we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The hospitality and food were excellent. A serious diet is required on returning home following Joseph's amazing breakfasts and evening meal.
We are sorry to be leaving but hope to return again in the future.

We recommend the Singing Water Vineyard for parties. They were extremely hospitable and generous.

July 4, 2011--Thank you so much for the Texas Hill Country Hospitality! We enjoyed the charm of the Comfort parade, a swim in the pool to cool off after a hot day and topped off the perfect weekend with fireworks in Kerrville. Our kids had a blast and now refer to this as the "vacation home!!'

May 30, 2011--Dear Chris, Elaine and Staff,
We visited your lovely ranch two years ago with friends and have enjoyed bringing our soon David, his wife Eileen and our two grandsons for a visit. The hospitality and facilities could not be better. The Terrace Grill is a great addition since our last stay. We loved the pool, too. The kitchen in Parvin's Cottage is great.

May 2, 2011--Once again, our stay of RRR was more than fabulous. Having Parvins and Teachers for our "Girl's Weekend" worked out perfectly. As always the Havens could not have been more accommodating and having Dorinda as our waitress all weekend was a delight.

May 1, 2011--There were several couples of us that spent a four-day weekend in the Guest House and the Farm House.
We all had such a fabulous time-There wasn't anything to complain about.
Accommodations, service, location and food were extraordinary. Everyone had a great time and we're looking forward to returning next year.

March 19, 2011--Charming! We are here for our son's wedding and thrilled with the accommodations, hospitality and wedding coordination plans the couple worked on themselves (we are in California.) Everything was welcoming and lovely. We plan to return for anniversaries for Vin and Dom!

March 19, 2011--Our family came here for some bonding time - to get away from a fast pace so we could be more present with each other. Our kids are nearly 15 and 17 and our remaining time with them is a rare commodity. This was an important space for us to reconnect.
The ambiance was restful, the food healthy-decadent, and the horses, cows and calves were healing.

Everything was perfect for our intimate wedding. You all were so sweet for extending such a warm and family atmosphere. Thank you for thinking of us on our wedding day and providing a lovely dinner table. It is appreciated. The chef was fabulous! The staff was sweet! The grounds are beautiful!

December 11, 2010--This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. It is hard to imagine there would be any other anywhere that could be any better. As Mark said "it is one of those places you dream about or maybe see a picture of - but you have actually made it all real and come true here." Nov. 14, 2010--This is the third year for our family reunion and it keeps getting bigger and the Ranch keeps getting better. Chris and Elaine truly have created the ultimate Hill Country experience.
