School is out of session in June and it's time to soak up the best of what the Hill Country has to offer. Sun, water, and the finest Texas and Hill Country culture is on display this summer so come out and enjoy these family-friendly activities.

Kerrville Folk Festival
Kerrville

This Texas Hill Country-based international songwriter's festival features more than 100 songwriters and their bands with concerts, a songwriting competition, seminars and workshops, arts and crafts, food and camping. Twin Elm Ranch Rodeo
Bandera

Twin Elm Rodeo is held at Twin Elm Guest Ranch, Bandera, TX for people to experience the cowboy way of life. Rodeo begins on Saturday night at 8pm, cost is $7.00 (under 6 years old is free). Get there early for a good spot. Activities include bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, mutton bustin, team roping, tie down and calf scramble. Want to participate? Lavender Festival
Blanco

Visit beautiful Blanco in the heart of the Texas Hill Country for the 8th annual Blanco Lavender Festival. A Lavender Market will be held on the grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse featuring arts and crafts and local lavender products. Tour many of the local lavender farms where you will experience the beauty of lavender in the fields and the unique vision of each farmer. Singing Water Vineyards presents the Second Sat. Concert Series

Join Thomas Michael Riley, two-time Hill Country Entertainer of the Year, as he returns to the Singing Water stage. Experience true Texas music at its finest. Roots Music Series at the Pioneer Museum
