October is officially Texas Wine Month and there are a ton of wine-centric events throughout the Hill Country. You have 31 days to meander through the Hill Country, savoring the local wine and visiting local wineries. Some you know, and are commercial vineyards, like Becker in Stonewall, others are boutique wineries like Bending Branch and Singing Water Vineyard right outside Comfort. Riven Rock Ranch Resort is a great place to stay as Riven Rock, and Comfort, Texas, are central to most of the Hill Country's great destinations. In less than thirty minutes' drive, you can visit Kerrville, Boerne and Fredericksburg and their wineries. Wineries will also be offering a 15% discount on 3 bottle wine purchases (winery choice). Visit the wineries, taste luscious wines, and take home your favorites to enjoy.

Artist at Work, October 15
Ever wondered how something is made? Well, head out to Singing Water Vineyard on Saturday, October 15 or Sunday, October 16 and see our local artists live at work.  This event will feature the artwork of potters, wood turners, jewelers and more! Please call 830-995-2146 for more information.
