We've been trying to keep a closed lid on this-well not really seeing as it was featured in our newsletter-but we're pleased to announce that we have been featured in the January 2012 issue of Southern Living. Riven Rock Ranch was named one of the "South's Coziest Inns," among some of the finest inns and bed and breakfasts south of the Mason-Dixon.

The article features a full-page picture of one of the roaring fireplaces at The Terrace Grill and mentions the romantic River Suite in the Farm House and praises Elaine's finesse and skill of decorating that gives Riven Rock its distinctive, refined Hill Country identity.

Other Inns range from smaller properties, to the palatial Fairview Inn in Jackson, Miss. and briefly detail features that make the inns unique (The Clifton Inn gives complimentary Winnie the Pooh books to children staying at the Inn in honor of the 100 acre forest similarity.)
We're so excited to be included in their publication and little did we know what sort of response we'd have from the feature. We've had numerous phone calls inquiring about staying at the resort. Big thanks go out to Paula Disbrowe for the wonderful article and Frank Edwards for the beautiful pictures and to our guests who continue to visit us.
