What's more honest than a handwritten note? It's hard these days to slow down, pick up a pen and write a note from the heart instead of firing off an email. More often than not, our guests come to us to embrace a slower pace, a sabbatical from their everyday lives. And so many of them stop and read through our Guestbooks in each cottage. They leaf through our ever-filling pages and stop for a moment to reflect upon their stay with us and share their experience. We all love to read these entries after our guests have left as we reflect upon the unique people we've met and the stories they've told us.  As our Guestbook entries grow, so does the reputation of our bed and breakfast. Many of our guests are referred by family and friends. Comfortable and well-kept cottages feel like a home away from home. Farmer's trays with crackers, fresh-made bread, fruit, cheese and a locally-sourced bottle of wine greet our weary travelers. Turn down service featuring gourmet truffles, comfortable slippers and luxury robes ensure our guests are pampered. A gourmet breakfast is served in The Terrace Grill every morning to guarantee that our guests set out on their day's adventures with a full stomach. It's no wonder we have been awarded the Fodor's Choice award, their highest honor, for three years and counting.
